Great airport for being easy and less stressful than most airports I’ve been to. We came around Christmas time so they had decorated it really cool. I saw Santa flying, huge presents, and a bunch of other really cool art. Looks like the employees care and actually like working there. The baggage pick up was close and convenient. I appreciated the relaxed feeling throughout the entire place. I recommend this airport to anyone who wants less stress than most airports across the world.

Great mid size airport. Easy to navigate. Clean. Power stations can be found near all the gates. Great stores and prices are actually good. A large bottle of water was $3.99. Unheard-of at an airport. Great food and drink options. Nice souvenirs options specially if you are a cheese head.

Nice airport! A bit confusing to walk past the security line in order to leave, but guessing the airport was built pre 9/11 and had to make changes on the fly. The main area looks nice and has a lot of options. Easy access to shuttles!

Arrived on a Friday evening departed on a Sunday afternoon. Not overly busy either time. Security was quick and efficient, TSA was pleasant. No shuttles or trains required to get from drop off to gate. Uber / Lyft clearly marked for pickup unlike other airports. Nice mosaic decorations on the ground for decorations. Wish United had a club available here. Lots of power outlets by the seating area. Overall I think this is a great airport.

Very efficient and smooth. The TSA staff is very friendly and the check was quick inspite of having a lot of passengers. Took a early morning flight still had couple of shops open. There is a washroom every 3-4mins of walking.

Fantastic airport reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie Style Architecture! Great artwork throughout, as well as artistic touches in decor! There are terrific food options and bars after security! The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Love this airport because it’s so convenient. It stays clean and the employees were pleasant to work with. My negative is that we landed at 11:50pm and it now is 12:40pm and we have yet to get our checked luggage. Some workers came out of a back room eating a donut and said that every night they combine the last two flights bags so that they only need to use one carousel. Whoever thought that was the most efficient process has not stood waiting for their bags for almost an hour! In addition, waiting for baggage for almost an hour at 1:00am after traveling all day and dealing with time changes sucks! That person should be placed in a different job.

Facilities outside the airport are under construction. Inside facilities are good. For an early flight the process is so fast. For me is an A+

If you want an easy, low stress airport – this is the place. I’ve been to all sorts of airports, big and small, domestic and abroad. Madison might be one of my overall favorites because it is just *so* relaxed and easy, and I think that’s what most or all of us want when we travel. Are there elegant lounges tucked away to hang out at before your flight? No, which is maybe a downside, but you also don’t miss them. It almost feels like flying private out of a small FBO, the security is so fast. So enjoy your time at home or a few extra minutes with whoever you’re visiting, and know that you won’t have to deal with the stress of a major hub airport.

This airport is amazing as always! Everyone is so freaking nice and it’s always clean. The desk attendant, Megan, was so awesome! She worked the desk for flight AA3677 that departed on 8/29 at 11:40am. She made an effort to learn peoples names and helped a family out by switching their seats around so they could be closer to one another. She also has the most radiant smile! If I could put a picture next to “Midwest Nice” in the dictionary it would be a picture of her!

Small, very nice regional airport. Walk in, check in, through TSA and at my gate in 10 minutes. Although small Delta, United and American all offer connections to MOST of their east of the Rockies hubs (no NYC or DFW though). Allegiant offers extensive coverage of Florida too.

Great airport, easy in, easy out. The most impressive thing for us traveling this time was the very nicely setup nursing mothers room by the baggage claim. Very clean, nicely arranged, quiet, and the door locks for privacy.

Cozy, well maintained, clean, & efficiently laid out regional airport. It is also home of the best airline in the world, Air Wisconsin. The TSA are friendly unlike a lot of airport security checkpoints. The security wait times are very minimal compared to most airports. Dining options are very limited but, well placed and tasty. Lots of convenient vending machines too. There’s also a free ping pong table near the gates. Air Wisconsin headquarters are on the second floor & filled with friendly elite airline professionals!

Great airport for the location and staff was great. Small complaint on my end being a couple dangerous curbs around the rental car facility. Not painted to indicate a curb and saw a gentleman fall over the unpainted curb. Could be a safety concerned as it tripped me up a little with my luggage but not to the extent of the man who went all the way down. Potentially something to consider.

I fly out of ATW multiple times per month. It’s simply one of the best smaller airports around. Very short to no wait lines for TSA. Covered parking available out front. Plus, the airport is modern and clean, with friendly staff. I can get to anywhere I need to be via multiple airlines, and they are regularly adding more routes. The convenience of this airport makes it worthwhile, even with a connection, versus flying out of General Mitchell in Milwaukee for travelers in the Fox Valley area.

One of the cleanest airports in the United States! TSA and all the staff are very friendly. It’s a small airport yet many options… Family friendly music playing overhead, free Business center, free family area, free games to play such as corn hole and table top games. Need food no problem, excellent cafe and plenty of snack/drink options from the vending machines. Flights schedules on time… Wish I could fly in and out of this airport all the time!

This Stadium is amazing, so much historical value. It has a very personal feel being close to the field. All the locals are very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend making this a priority destination.

A very clean and pleasant regional airport. The retail and food options are quite lacking but, the airport layout is efficient and very easy to navigate. There’s never much of a line at the TSA checkpoint. The true positive of the airport is it’s convenient location versus other travel options.
✭✭✭✭✭ By Shane (3 months ago)
Not the best of airports!! But not a lot of people and one of the easiest places to get on and off the airplane. Other then just getting off and on the plane that is it!

Underrated airport that provides access to everything you need whether you’re coming or going. Not a 5 star spot, but a very good 4 star location. Very nice folks, intuitive layout, it was being updated while we trekked through. Thank you for doing such a good job!

Pros: easy to get to and get through. Very nice on the inside and clean. Cons: no one at the ticket counter when I arrived at 11:00am and was told no one was going to be available until 1:00pm. I wish this was made more public as I would have made arrangements to fly out of another airport. Drink vending machine was working, snack vending machine not working and the restaurant is closed.

Great regional airport for beginning and end stages of trips. The recent renovations make it much more comfortable.

Nice airport. You are in and through security very quickly. Nice employees and TSA. If you have a medical device and can’t go through their scanner they make small talk while they feel you up.

It’s a airport which is good and bad. They get you where you need to go. The pros are that it’s a good location, a small airport so it’s easy to get to your gate, has a little souvenir shop and cafe. The cons are security takes awhile. Nobody is at there to help you after 9pm and there’s not much to do.

Nice small regional airport. New and well designed terminal. Easy access to pick up / drop off and rental cars. One store/restaurant but it has a good selection of gifts, food and drink.
