This is a great airport. Lots of food options with large menus outside and lots of technology. I saw a Minute Suites where you could nap for about $50 an hour (and shower). Not that I needed it but if you had a long layover it might be of interest. Lots of shopping too. We walked from our incoming domestic flight terminal to our international departure flight terminal and it was an easy walk with lots of moving walkways. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the international terminal was not great. Ironically, we passed a service animal relief area and I remarked that I was surprised it did not smell whatsoever. However, upon entering the international terminal, it smelled by urine. Pretty gross. I enjoyed all the art displays scattered throughout including the Lego Philadelphia bell.

This airport is pretty convenient as far as layout when I compare it to others in the area such as Newark in New Jersey and JFK in New York and it’s certainly much easier to access than NYC! Many of the TSA agents are actually pretty pleasant . Parking is convenient and the economy lot parking is a pretty quick shuttle ride away. It also has plenty of shopping 👗 🛍 💍 stops and eateries 🍱 🍲 🍸 🍹 🍔 ☕️ as well. It

Very nice airport, especially for its size! Connecting between terminals is seamless; you can go all the way from A to F within a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride. Also, there are SO many eateries and stores. I especially recommend Earl of Sandwich. Overall, I have no complaints.

Very easy to get boarding pass once we found where the line was. No one around directing foot traffic unfortunately. Quick security check and we were on our way to our gate. Airport is like a mall with tons of shops and restaurants. There is everything you need in case you forgot a last minute item.

Nice airport and good shops and amenities. It’s widely spread out though and doesn’t have a train or similar. There are shuttle buses to certain locations but you might have to walk a long way. Nice “quiet room” if you need a chapel or meditation spot (although it’s far down on end of the airport. Good Philly cheesesteaks and other food! Cool mini-museums – check out the inventions display if you have time.

Nice clean airport, easy to navigate through. I’ve flown in and out of this airport several times and have never had a problem. Security has always been quick and easy to get through. We always fly Southwest.

It’s a home sweet home feeling here so that gets it an extra star but it needs some work. It’s definitely time to upgrade the layout and the security screening areas. The baggage claim area is so slow. The tram idea is outdated. It’s time for a complete redo. Excited to see the changes that the new airport brings.

I came at a time that it was not too busy which was nice. It was clean. The workers were friendly. The food and shopping options were plentiful. The baggage claim area was decorated for the holidays. It did seem like one of the baggage carousels broke so out bags randomly switched carousels. Overall a good experience.

This is such a funny airport because it’s entirely too nice for its size (but beginning to feel dated in 2022), and that’s only a benefit to the people passing through it! Really lovely, modern, and clean – befitting a larger hub. And that’s exactly how this all happened – it was GOING TO BE A HUB for a lot more operations… and then suddenly it wasn’t, but they had already made it super nice, so now the residents of Pittsburgh and visitors to the airport get all the benefits and none of the crowd. Fun facts! I’m revising this review after a few years because parts of the airport are starting to feel older. Some still feel super new, but those spots now stand out… so an upgrade is coming soon I’d bet!

Surprisingly a really intuitive airport that is clean and very easy to navigate. There’s a lot of natural light that allows for it to feel more comfortable inside. Security is a breeze with both regular and TSA pre-check lines.

Nice sized airport, with the rental car facility located right across the street. They have a good/fair amount of places to eat within the airport as you wait. Great location. 👍🏽

A quiet airport with very helpful travel assistants. We afforded to even relish a hearty joke that left both traveler and staff feeling warm. There is evidence of good facility maintenance.

Convenient and quaint. Easy in/out and friendly, helpful staff. I give it 4.5 stars. .5 star deduction for the time it takes to get your luggage. Since this hasn’t gotten better in the last 40 years, they should at least put chairs down there. I can only spend so much time looking at a tractor, but I do appreciate the variety of tractors I’ve seen there. Delta has a sign there guaranteeing luggage in 20 minutes, though no contact info to let them know how they are doing. There’s a flaw.

Don’t travel out of this airport after 6 PM. Nothing is open. No food. No drinks. Nothing. On top of this, I left the airport to go get snacks from the hotel next to the airport. When I went back through security they caught a small Swiss Army knife attached to my keys. When I told them that they missed it the first time I went through they weren’t concerned whatsoever. Super safe airport.

The airport itself is small, clean, fairly laidback as in not too busy all the times I’ve gone through here. Rental cars are open until midnight, sometimes later depending on flights coming in. No pres circle though since they can’t secure their cars here. C gates have a cool room for doing laptop stuff or lounging

Nice small airport. Employees were friendly and helpful. Getting through security was so much faster than other airports in the area. Picking up luggage was also fast. Plenty of places to wait for your flight. Large bar/ restaurant with good drinks.

Fourth largest airport in Pennsylvania, The Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is a non-hub servicing Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. It has 2 runways, 9 gates, and a single terminal. This is a no nonsense, no frills facility that is a welcome change from the bustle of Newark or Philadelphia Internationals. Getting through security is fast – especially compared to its larger counterparts, and flights connect at all major hubs. Honestly if your travels place you in close proximity to this airport, fly out of here instead of the larger neighboring places. Your security and check-in will be faster, and your experience all around less stressful. If you’ve got the time, check out the sensory room for a travel break.

Small, but more than sufficient for every flight I’ve ever been on. Nice rest rooms, and some simple dining options if you have to wait and get hungry. Check in and TSA always moves quickly. Very happy with this for my usual go-to airport.

A gem of a smaller airport. Easy to navigate due to good signage. Luggage at carousel was already starting when we got there. Car rental stations are very convenient. A little slow because of time of night and only 1 associate working. Cars are right outside.

Though an international airport, LVI, formerly ABE, is a smaller airport serving more of a smaller regional area. It is easy to navigate and usually a little quicker to get through TSA checkpoints. There aren’t many choices in amenities but the shops and services are more than adequate. We were pleased with the whole experience. For what is there, it is five stars, but don’t expect a major metropolitan airport experience.

Avoid this airport at all cost if you are checking a bag. Or if you don’t like sitting on the tarmac for 30 min. They seemed really understaff for all normal airport operations. They only have one functioning terminal because they don’t have enough staff to taxi and more than one aircraft at a time. And they also take about 40 minutes after flight lands to get the check bags to to baggage claim. The airport itself is clean and well-kept, but not worth it.

The efficient design and size make this airport convenient. I arrived a bit earlier and used the meditation room, it made for a pleasant beginning of my journey. They also have a charge station you can use and many outlets located next to seating.

It’s a small airport but they do have international flights from the Caribbean. Don’t plan on a dining experience – Dunkin and another vendor is about there is. Clean. The law enforcement officer was much more helpful than the airport worker in his green vest. Parking was $3.00 for the 45 or so minutes that I waited for more family to fly-in. I used the ramp so the car would stay cooler. Simple access between the ramp and the terminal.

One of the most clean & updated regional airports that I’ve ever visited. I’ve never seen the TSA checkpoint as backed up as most airports & the TSA officers are some of the most personable in my travels. The airport serves all the major airlines: American, Delta, & United. The food options past security are a bit limited but, who really goes to the airport to enjoy fine dining? Typical tourist & convenience store type retail stores inside the airport too. Make sure to look at the air traffic control tower at night or during major holidays, they have a great LED system that changes the appearance.
