A wonderful airport, big, airy, well designed. We were there on a Monday, and there was hardly anyone there making everything efficient and fast. There are plenty of food options for all types of tastes. Keep the kids away from the big candy shops (you’ll see the big spinning lollipops). There are a massive number of chairs, with power to charge your phones on almost all chairs. The wifi is straight forward, and fast.

Highly Highly impressed!!! This is one of the cleanest, well laid airports ive ever been in. Ive traveled through several and Indy beats them all. TSA was fast, and you don’t have to hike 100 miles to get to your rental car or ground transportation. Moving sidewalks in the terminal to speed you down to the further gates. Good job Indy!

I’ve been to a lot of airports around the country and this is one of the nicest and most efficient ones I’ve been to. It’s well organized and doesn’t require a ton of transport to get between sections of it. It has a nice, large food court right after ticketing, then you can go through security and get to the terminals to either the right or left. Super easy. The bathrooms and other facilities are clean and never crowded. The shuttles to the parking lots and getting to the rental cars is also easy. Flying with firearms has never been a problem for me here as well.

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at hands down. First night in, the fire alarm went off and woke the whole building up. Everyday thereafter, the fire alarm was going off continuously for at least an hour at a time. I tried the bar the first night for a late bite, I’ve never had bad food from a bar at a hotel. I ordered shrimp tacos, imaging they’d be quick from a lifetime of ordering and preparing shrimp dishes…it took 34 minutes to receive (2) shrimp tacos, on flour tortillas with raw cabbage. The tacos weren’t good. The room was a separate disaster. To start, I took a shower before getting into bed and noticed the towel had a nice brown steak on it. Secondly, the pillows sucked. Normally, I enjoy my sleep in hotel room but I was consistently waking up to neck pain and readjusting to the unsupportive mattress. Third, I’ve attached pictures of the area around the air-conditioning intake and the filter that has probably never been changed. I was motivated to climb up and check because I woke up after the first night to massive amounts of discharge that I knew could only be from dusty air. I never turned on the A/C again after this. Notwithstanding the air quality, the system was stuck on heat anyways and I was sweating and would have had to turn off anyway. The only highlight of the hotel was the Starbucks downstairs and their fast and friendly service. I was at this hotel for a conference and my story above was not a one-off. I will not be back.

State of the Art Airport. Sleek, refined, plenty of Open court areas. Shops, gifts, a variety of food choices in Main Welcoming Hall. Short, efficient Security screenings. Larger airports should adopt more of these traits.

Nice little airport with friendly workers. TSA was fast. The only complaint is that it’s pretty warm and stuffy in the terminal.

Since a smaller airport, getting in and finding everything quite easy. Getting through security wasn’t too bad… then searching items slowed procees down… they had like 10 of us through and we just waiting for our bins of items to come through.

This is actually the easiest airport I’ve ever flown out of. People are generally nice. It’s very clean. Recommend it.

Small and efficient airport which you can get through quickly. The airport features an aviations museum, a brewery, and some places where you can get lighter dishes. Not a place for a long layover but nice to fly in and out of.

Very convenient International Airport. No need to walk too far. Easy and fast check in. Don’t know about the staff though. I thought they would be smiling and welcoming people but I didn’t see one. But overall a more than okay experience. Their seats by the way look great and comfy at the departure area. 😊

Very small airport. 7 gates 2 baggage claims. Clean. Waiting for bags to come out over 45 minutes. One person could have pushed or carried them all by hand this very short distance in less time. Ridiculous!!!?

I love flying out of this airport. Super easy and fast to get dropped off, get through security and get to your gate. There aren’t many flights but the convenience is immeasurable. When you fly in, it is mere steps to baggage claim and the rental car counters are right there. Love it.

This is the most disorganized dysfunctional airport. I am a seasoned traveler and experience nothing but problems with unreasonable rules that only apply here. Like not letting anyone checkin in and earlier than 65 min prior to departure. Or taking 10 min per bag going through security. Lines are long after going through security and no where to stand because they take so long to review each bag. Or, landing and having to wait 50+ min to get off the plane because no one is working outside. If your flight lands after 5 pm, good luck getting off the plane in a reasonable time or getting your bag within the 20 min required time. AA staff here are terrible. You’ll wait 45 min down in baggage for luggage when it was the only plane to unload. I have never experienced this poor service at any other US airport. Unacceptable!!

Everything you need in a small airport. Friendly tsa and staff. No long lines. Beautiful business center and play area for small children. Great restaurant and lounge area with full bar. Absolutely love this airport

I have been flying out of here for years. So much easier and more convenient than most airports. I wish they still offered some of the old routes but I can still get where I want in a reasonable time and usually with only one stop. If you want to avoid the chaos of the bigger airports, I would say spend a little extra and fly from your local airport. Well worth the little extra spent, in my opinion.

It’s a nice clean little airport. I don’t think it’s ever taken me more than 5 minutes to get through security. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind. Need more destinations!

Fabulous experience! Very clean and friendly airport…will most definitely be flying out of Evansville again. It is so convenient and had a direct flight to Destin! Amazing convenience for Evansville residents and surrounding areas!

As regional airports go Evansville has every right to be very proud of their airport. Well designed and spacious with a top-notch friendly staff and security. The only cons about the whole place is the three vending machines before you go through security only one of them worked and the other two would take your money but nobody spends any time on that part of the airport except for me because I had to wait several hours for my ride. I usually fly into Nashville but thought I’d give Evansville a try and I’m glad I did and I will be back

What an AMAZING airport for GA! This has to be one of the best in the country for a stopover. They have a clean and modern terminal with a services provider inside, a restaurant with a view, and a museum on site. Always seems to be a pleasure when visiting KBAK. Tower controller is always friendly, much appreciated! And, I’ve always seen some unique aircraft parked or operating there. Such a cool place!

Absolutely amazing service! One of my favorite airports to go too! Planespotting there is great, the spots are amazing and the workers there may even let you out on the ramp if your lucky. The ground crews there are great at there jobs! If you could fly into Columbus, you should!

Fantastic Airport for the public and pilots alike. The recently renovated terminal has clean restrooms, a wonderful airport diner (Hangar 5), and a nice pilot lounge as well. Pavement is well maintained throughout the airport airside, and the museum (walking distance) always has friendly docents who are passionate about the history of Atterbury-Bakalar.
