being one of the busiest airports in the world has some disadvantages. I think depending upon which terminal you are flying into or out of greatly determines your satisfaction with this place. I fly United often and those terminals have been upgraded with great food and beverage options along with multiple United club locations. And you always get to walk through the groovy neon people moving sidewalk. The newly added tram to the Rent-A-Car parking destinations lot is nice in the winter as you don’t have to go outside to catch the train.

Exceptional! The air port is very very busy. The hallways are crowded and there seems to always be someone running to catch a flight. But guess what? It’s an international airport and their whole staff is doing there very best to allow you to have a good experience. Instead of saying it’s crowded think of how many people they are helping. The flights are great. They have tons of different places to eat and shop. You have to remember to be patient and make the most of the fact that there are airports like this that can help lots of people. Five emojis that describe my experience are… ✈️😃🤩🛫👍

First time at O’Hare. great experience and very beautiful! As i have been in the terminal 3 only. It’s super beautiful!! Great experience and staff are very helpful. If you are here for connection flight and you have a time. You can go out and come back again. And yes you have to do security check again. But its nice 😊

A very nice airport with many planes to fly on. This is a very large airport with lots of terminals, shuttles, buildings, and, especially, a lot of people most days. This can make the experience here a bit more stressful, but airports are always stressful. In the actual airport past security, there are shops everywhere and rarely will you be too far from some type of food to eat. It’s a place I enjoy but I don’t rave about it.

It’s a beautiful airport and has lots of transit options. You can take the L from downtown Chicago all the way to the airport. There’s lots of art on display and plenty of shops, so you won’t be bored if you have a long layover. It seems to be a very busy airport at all times.

Small oddly designed airport. OK if not busy, but terrible if busy. Not many food options. Many of the restaurants were closed on both a busy Saturday, and a quiet Tuesday. On Saturday with the limited selection every vendor had a very long line. The prices seemed high even for an airport.

Very first time next stop/flew in Chicago. When we landed and I don’t know why we waited so long for arrival liked almost 20 minutes. What if people need to catch another plane…just say! Midway needed to doing their job.

I really didn’t like the airport. Although there was a decent design, it’s a terrible one. One fact is that the airports runway is very short and dangerous. It’s outdated and very old. Food is TERRIBLE there. Just wish that they would improve their food and customer service. That’s probably the biggest thing they should work on. I have a stopover here on my way to d.c., so that’s not gonna be good.

As far as airports go, the Chicago Midway airport is a good one. Wide open areas, new renovations, a fair selection of restaurants, happy service folks. This airport is also the hub for Southwest Airlines (unofficially … since Southwest’s real hub is in Dallas). Southwest definitely has had a positive impact on this airport. Lots of renovations, clean up and additions of restaurants in the last few years especially before COVID. This airport is also a great alternative for O’Hare airport.

The only time I’ve ever been to Chicago is through Midway Airport. While I do wish there was still a McDonald’s, they are trying make it cater to Chicago as it might be your only experience. There are a lot of places to sit and eat that are locally owned. There’s also lots of stores to find a great Chicago souvenir. This is the largest base for Southwest and the personnel are VERY friendly and helpful. This one lady was EXTREMELY helpful when I asked where my connecting gate was. I was also SO impressed to see that the terminal looked exactly the same from the A&E reality series Airline.

I have to write this maybe for the wrong reasons but anyway, here I go. The airport is really nice, it’s a small airport and according to the people here, it’s never busy. As soon as you get off the plane, you walk straight to the street for ground transportation, it’s pretty easy, again, it’s a small airport. The airport is really clean and I really have no complaints. My only observation is about the transportation from the airport to anywhere you’re going. For whatever reason Uber and Lyft take a long time to pick you up if you’re lucky to find one. I didn’t see a cab service or other way to get out of here, so if you don’t rent a car is going to take a while to get wherever you have to go. This is probably due to the fact that Peoria is a very small town but I thought of mentioning here in case it’s useful for anyone coming.

Easy to fly in & out for central Illinois residents. Plenty of parking & it’s free. TSA staff unbelievably nice, helpful, and respectful! Water bottles affordable (some airport make them so expensive), short TSA lines, and many direct flights to some favorite destinations!

It’s a nice small airport. Very clean and not very busy. I’m only giving it 3 stars due to the TSA worker. We were the only two people in the airport, but made us pile our carry on and tablet and phone and shoes all in one plastic bin and he grabbed our shoes and put them on top out phones and tablets getting them All dirty for no reason.

Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve been through. Taking into account ease to get to and through and amenities it has for its size! You don’t need to arrive as early since I can arrive, turn in my rental car, check my bag, make my way through security, and get to my gate in 20 minutes…easy!! They have two restaurants and two stores, one of each on both sides of security. Vending machines at the end of each “concourse”. Both restaurant locations don’t have big menus and a small beer and liquor selection! And the people are always friendly! Car rentals are easy and a shortish walk from the counter!!

Great airport with Security/Agents who are the friendliest we have ever met! One of the most pleasant experience we have ever experienced going through TSA Checkpoint! Airport itself is clean, well maintained. All signage are clear & updated appropriately. Announcements over the intercom are clear and audible. Pleasant background music playing. Overall, a great airport.

Today’s adventure is taking me from home in Iowa (well technically Illinois) to Fiddletown, California. My next adventure on this journey we call life is on officially underway. Not that my new Boss and I haven’t been hard at it the past 60 days or so mind you. However, it is actually “real” now. I’m moving from the Midwest to the Golden State of California. I was initially retained as a consultant in relation to a new opioid addiction treatment facility. After consulting for a period of time, the physician establishing the new facility and system of rehabilitation approached me asking if I would consider the possibility of being the Program Director. Consider it??!!?? Please, no brained for me!! The facility will utilize a system of rehabilitation that is not 12-Step based. The facility will provide intensive residential services in a beautiful setting in the mountains of Northern California. We chose the location that will house 4-6 residents at a time due to a belief that going to rehab does not need to be gloomy nor clinical in feel or look. Over the next two months Jeff and I plan on a daily post on our various social media accounts. These posts will allow you to share our journey as we open a new opioid rehabilitation center. Please join us starting next week as we head towards December and the opening if our center! Please wish us well!!

Need a ride? There is no regular taxi service, rental car counters close early, and Lyft and Uber cannot find drivers. By the rental car counters is a touchscreen listing local taxi services. This is a photo of the available services as of July 22, 2022. Your other option is to stand in front of the terminal and wait for Wilson. He drives a silver sedan and holds up a “taxi” sign. If you flag him down, his current price (according to the 3 separate groups of people who found him) is $41 for a ride to downtown Davenport. Good Luck!

We travel a lot and Chris and Brittany from Delta have always gone above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. They always have a smile on their faces. And when there has been a token issue or two they have been on top of it and rocked it! So glad we get to work with them! KUDOS LADIES!

It’s a small airport with limited facilities, no restaurant and one airline. But, what is there is great. It’s a relatively new airport with great architecture and beauty. It gets the job done. It’s easy to get to and get around. Simple floor plan with easy access to all things you need. One thing to keep in mind is for the remainder of this year and next (2022) there will be construction on the property and on the building as it expands.7

Love this airport! I get pretty nervous around crowds but this airport is small, organized friendly and I know where I’m going and what the routine is. Staff is mostly pretty nice and helpful the pilots we’ve had have delivered great flights and smooth take offs and landings. Only downfall is they don’t go to more locations

Nice small airport. The great part is if your dropping someone off you do not have to pay to park if it’s under an hour.

I hate to comment because I’m afraid there will be a flood of people starting using MidAmerica.. Clean, neat, smell wonderful. People are friendly and nice. They made me feel welcome. Their attitudes made me wish I could tip them all. This airport, God himself would enjoy. The airline was top notch. The only thing I would say we do need seats for bigger people rather if they are heavy, taller or wider on these aircraft. But that’s on the plane not MidAmerica.. But over all 10 out 10……

Gotta appreciate the convenient location and cheap parking. I love the allure of parking directly in front and walking in – no garages, long lines, traffic, etc. Granted, destinations are limited because it’s a small airport, but If your not too picky about your vacation’s destination, I recommend checking out flight deals on the Allegiant app. Flights book up fast.
