LAX is cool. Lounge is equipped with shower suites which is really my favourite. Nicely maintained and clean! Waited a little while but totally worth it. Nothing beats fresh and clean feel before boarding a long hour flight. Roof top is awesome too!

Clean airport, well maintained. Good options for food and shopping in terminal. Airport staff is consistently helpful. For arrivals: -plan on a 10-15 minute walk from your gate to ground transportation-baggage claim. -there is airport-airline staff along the way to guide you -Often the escalators are not working so plan on having to “walk” the whole way yourself -If you are picking up a rental car, the shuttle pick up area was moved to 4F. So after reaching baggage claim, keep walking past B The signage is not very obvious or clear at all, I had to inquire with 2 different people For departures: -there is traffic at all times of the day so best to go early for whoever is dropping you off, etc -make sure you know which terminal you are needing to check in at. There are 6 different terminals and there aren’t a very close walk from each other -plan on a 10-15 minute walk from ticketing to your gate

Airports in general give me a bit of anxiety and they can be very overwhelming. There’s people all over, there’s traffic, there’s different terminals, gates, and securities etc. LAX is a huge airport and one can get lost in the mayhem especially if you’re not a frequent flier. Luckily, for me, I fly often and I’m aware of what to do and where to go. I’ve been very fortunate to have had really good experiences at LAX even with it being so humongous. I feel that LAX is very organized when it comes to labeling where the airlines are located and which terminals they’re in, where the gates are , where security is, where you check in, etc. I feel like all of that is very organized and has very well signage throughout. My only issue is traffic but obviously that’s some thing that is what it is, nothing we can really control. Specifically in LA, traffic is cray cray! I definitely recommend giving yourself plenty of time if you’re not used to LA traffic or big airports so you’re not stressing out. Even though that’s easier said than done, traveling in general can be a bit crazy at times. Safe Travels Everyone!

Very busy airport. But absolutely beautiful. Since the new renovation has taken place. Updated inside. Beautiful architectural design. Comfortable seating. Plenty of options to eat and make final purchases before flying out.

Takes a while to get to the terminal if there’s any kind of traffic, but airport is relatively clean and has decent dining options. Security hasn’t ever been too bad from my experience. You could do worse.

This airport is quite easy to get around. I like the fact that places to eat are nicely distributed in different terminals. Doesn’t feel crammed or too busy even on a Friday evening. Looks new and modern at least the 4 terminals I walked around. Hence I would recommend it’s okay to have your transits/layovers through this airport.

Nice airport, plenty of art, variety of shops, my favorite place to visit is the international terminal. Great for walking off sitting in an airplane. Great food choices. Pet relief station available. Play furniture also available.

It is a nice airport overall. It was busy but efficient there are places open for food and drink. Overall a really nice and clean airport even when busy. Checking in is quick and efficient. Note preTSA is busy as I think more people have it now but certainly better than the regular line.

One of the cleanest airports I have ever been in. The bathrooms are amazing, the stores have some very unique finds, the food is legit and from around the world, the seating is plentiful/comfortable, and there is a ton of space to walk around. Unless the security line is long in terminal 1 (which it is later in the day), I love this place. Disfruten/enjoy! 🔥💪🏼😎

Ooh. I like this airport. I was in terminal 2 in the D concourse. It’s a cute one has a lot of shops and restaurants low to high end. shoe shines, massages and chocolate if you happen to be there when they are open. FYI if you are checking bags with Alaska you are only allowed to check bags 4 hours before you board. Not 3 and a half. Not Three and a quarter. FOUR

Been to the airport couple of times very small yet very clean and organized and staff members very friendly and every time I was able to catch my flight on time and they had couple of lounge options and few restaurants and coffee shops available for you. Also was able to see flight status as they had multiple screens all over to check flight status for any delays. Overall nice airport

People say that the airport is small (in the reviews that I read). I think it’s more of a medium size. (In my eyes Durango is a small airport). There are few places to eat and to shop. For us passing through security line was fast. Getting breakfast was easy, let’s say 7-8 people ahead in line. I enjoyed the art on the walls. I was flying at 8am, so not sure if time makes a difference. Airport has two terminals and 48 gates. It was clean. I normally like to wait at the Admirals Club, but I didn’t see one. The gate agents were polite (I fly American).

As airports go, the San Diego International Airport is as good as most. It was well laid out and comfortable. You felt safe, and there were different places to get a bite. No one really wants to hang around an airport, but if you have to, this is a nice one.

Love this airport 🙌🙌🙌 quaint and convenient. Wonderful choices for meals, snacks, drinks, cafes, and shops. Love the massage stops (Be Relax) and local vendors. Always feels clean and kept in the restrooms, seating areas, and cafeterias. Love this is my home port!

Always a terrific experience. Everything is so great and easy. With the opening of Terminal 2, checking in through security is even more seamless. It took 17 min to go from the car in the parking lot to the gate. I always recommend this airport. One of the best.

Skip all the traffic of the Bay & head to Sacramento International Airport (SMF) when flying to & from northern/central California. It’s a beautiful airport. There is a free waiting area to park if you are picking someone up. Drop off & pick up exceptionally quick. If you have to loop around terminals, it’s quite simple. Hourly/Daily Paid Parking always available.

Our home airport has changed over the decades to be a world-class arrival and departure destination. Like all airports at times it can busy but for the most part, it is not overly busy, which makes travel less stressful. Terminal B is the new terminal replacing A for that title. Showing age there. Inside are the usual small shops for snacks, food and last minute suvioners.

Sacramento (SMF) Airport is a really nice airport. The check-in and security processes were seamless. It is a smaller airport, but capacity of a larger scale airport. There is ample seating throughout the airport for travelers, and there are plenty of outlets throughout for tech devices. The escape lounge was comfortable and inviting. The only downside is there is no restroom in the lounge. However, a restroom is conveniently located a short distance from the entrance. The airport is easy to navigate, and there are several restaurants to choose from. I would recommend this airport for your traveling needs.

06/21/22: This airport has had some renovations the last time I visited 5-6 years ago and is much brighter and airier than before. The American Airlines customer service/ticketing counter is understaffed, but nice. TSA Precheck was super fast aka we were the only ones in line. Yay!! Not many food options to choose from.

Clean and organized. May not be as big as other major airports in California, but the ease of navigation, baggage delivery and ground transportation, stands it out from the rest.

Nice airport, shops, car rental services and nearby gas station to fill up prior to car return. Live music is awesome! There’s even a piano to play. Quiet areas at times, nice long walk along the terminal with ADA, nursing room, and pet relief areas. Plenty of artwork to see.

One of the Best airports I’ve been to! This was my first time ever in California and I arrived at night and the car I had rented was ready for me as soon as I grabbed my luggage. The distance from the Airport to the parking lot is incredibly close and it’s not overcrowded (Day or Night) like other very busy airports. On the return back which was during the day, I explored the shops and restaurants- so much selection that I spent enough time wandering the airport and then my flight started boarding. Definitely one of the best airports around! John Wayne!

Really nice airport. Very clean in the terminal and bathrooms. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. This is my favorite airport to fly in Southern California. It is close to everything. Not crowded as other airports.

Used this airport 🛫 couple of times, it’s nice airport very clean and small!! Which makes traveling very easy. Couple of things need to be careful of, which I believe it’s everywhere is the TSA line as it’s a small airport it gets really packed easy so if you are running late you need to keep that in mind, they only have TSA pre but not Clear which is another thing you need to keep in mind. And for airport lounges they only have 1 lounge in terminal B, and lots of restaurants! But honestly overall very nice and clean airport.

I have great experience every time of traveling to Orange County through this international airport. It is a bit smaller but because of that there are not very many people. Going through security usually takes just a few minutes; sometimes no line at all! The facility is very clean. This is absolutely the number one choice for people traveling to OC.
