The wonders of having a very simple and small airport is great. Some of the major airlines go through Fargo but you can park your car in long term parking and walk to the terminal without a shuttle in under 10 minutes. There is food, a gift shop, vending machines, and plenty of bathrooms. The best part is it’s not loud and there is usually never a wait for anything. And the staff are kind and friendly! Love that about North Dakota.

Now this is a great airport. It’s very similar to MCI. It’s clean, spacious, limited shops, limited food options; which is great. If I want to go to a mall, then I will go to a mall. I don’t know why we feel the need to turn airports into malls. I hope Fargo stays strong and don’t give into corporate pressure to build a new modern mall airport like Kansas City did. The prices for the knickknacks are not bad! I only paid $3 for a coke. At Chicago it would be nearly $4.

Hector airport is good for a smaller city. The airport has jetways and food options which give it a bigger airport feel. When flying in you will be over endless cornfields until you land. The airport is closer to downtown Fargo than you may think and taxis are not particularly expensive. Parking is within walking distance so you do not have to deal with the dreaded shuttle.

A pleasant, small airport. Very easy to navigate and a nice parking lot. The car rentals are conveniently placed in the front near the baggage claim area. Not a bad airport for such an out of the way place.

We travel a lot with my sister in a wheelchair and Fargo is the very best in service. The aisle chair was new and more comfortable. The attendants were professional and helpful. Traveling with a special needs person is exhausting and they helped me greatly at the end of my journey when I needed it most.

This is a very clean, well-run airline terminal. Baggage claim and rental car counters are conveniently located, with the staff very friendly and professional. I would love to see even more flight options. This could include additional airlines (Southwest, Alaska, and WestJet come to mind) as well as the existing airlines providing larger capacity aircraft and expansion of routes to more cities (Winnipeg, Billings, Seattle, and Fargo). More public transit and ride-sharing services are sorely needed, as are additional airline customer service agents at the gates to better handle oversold flights and extreme weather situations more effectively. All in all, this is a great start!

Small airport makes for ease and convenience. Easy drop off and pick up and quick walk through security. There is one concourse with easy access to restrooms and plenty of seating. The food convenience is limited and just microwaved or heated pre-packaged meals that I could see. With such easy of getting to gate, you should be able to grab something on way to airport that suites your mood and taste. Staff was friendly – not used to that.

I love small little airports. In and out in no time! Never overly busy! Cool fossils and a small game room to kill some time!

Good airport, not very crowded. The people and staff were very friendly and helpful. Moving around in this airport was a very smooth experience. Typical small town like airport. Not the best cellphone service with T-Mobile but I was able to make some calls in certain spots. Really cool dinosaur artifacts displayed, museum type quality. Fun place to pass through

To say “easy breezy” would be an understatement. This airport was a real pleasure! Most importantly, it was as quick as can be. Dropping off the rental car, checking in, going through security, and getting to the gate were all so quick,

Smaller airport. Never had any issues here. TSA is mostly nice and quick. Departure and arrival has been timely from my experience. Small play area for the kids. Waiting area and restrooms are better maintained than most airports. There is a lactation pod as well.

Beautiful small airport. Check in area, baggage claim and car rentals are all within a short walk. Tsa is on the second floor and I think I have met the nicest TSA agents in the world. There is a restaurant located inside the terminal and serves spirits and beer as well as bottled beverages and snacks to take on the plane with you. They also sell souvenirs and it is the only place that I was able to find a tshirt with MINOT on it. Comfortable chairs with plenty of areas to charge your electronics. There is a small kiddie area as well. And you can beat the location. As soon as you drive off you have restaurants, hotels and stores.

What a beautiful airport with a super-friendly staff and lovely sitting areas. I loved the massage chairs upstairs outside security gates where we relaxed until time to check in. Thanks Joe for welcoming us Texans to your wonderful North Dakota airport! Thank you also for your service to our country! Cathy & Steve

Minit airport was good, spacious, lines moved as long as everyone remains positive and kind. Thise that (the following items are those I witnessed today). 1. Going back into the boarding area after checking into flight – lady was escorted back to security. 2. Zone 6 does not board before Zones 1-5 have been called. Some guys thought their 6 was a 2 apparently. Other than that everthing went great. Staff were courteous and positive (even if a few bad apples were spoiling things just a bit.

Beautiful airport! Easy to get around. Very comfortable seating and lots of options.

Every single time I’ve flew into Williston Airport it’s taken WAY to long for the luggage to show up. United Airlines. There’s absolutely no reason such a small airport takes SUCH a long time for luggage to hit the carousel.

Williston has a new airport, one of the nicest I’ve ever seen in a small town. There are three car rental agencies to choose from and TSA is a breeze on the way out. I also had one of my best breakfasts ever as I waited to board my outgoing plane.

This is a nice small airport which is only a few years old. The gate areas are quite spacious particularly given the relatively small planes that service this airport. There is a bar as well as several shops in the gate area, but there is very little outside of the security area.

The grounds crew is not organized, they do not take initiative to have things done ahead of time. They do everything in their power to waste time until the flight gets cancelled. Our family plus a full flight sat for over 12 hours waiting for our flight. Everyone on the plane was trying to get to their family for Christmas! Our flight cancellation was NOT due to circumstances beyond the airports control, it was due to INCOMPETENT employees across the board! The gate agent, Bailey, was the only person doing ALL OF THE WORK. He was running everything by himself. He should be promoted to manager and allowed to hire everyone under him. There were people asking to speak to his manager or supervisor and the manager/supervisor wouldn’t come in to the airport even with all of the trouble we were having for TWO straight days. They just called Bailey for “updates.” The supervisor/manager should be fired! The only thing you can depend on through XWA is cancellations! We wonder why we can’t get other airlines to travel through XWA. We’d need an airport who can actually do their job and maybe the airlines would come. Our family travels frequently through XWA but we have learned our lesson. We’ll take our business elsewhere. Considering the service we received recently, it would only seem appropriate that XWA would pass the blame. We watched as other aircrafts were landing and taking off while we waited for the grounds crew to plow out snow drifts which we never watched happen, fill up fuel 3 different times (we’re not even sure how that’s possible), and the VERY responsible gate person radio every person he could to try to coordinate the work to get us out. There were times he would chase them down personally just to get things done. I plan to have some others from our flight share their experiences as well. I understand the weather and holidays. (We tried to fly the 21st which was before the wind and the “holiday”) I believe in being a kind person. There was NO EXCUSE for the total lack of work provided to a plane full of people trying to make it home to their families for Christmas. We are currently driving 5 hours on bad roads to another airport who can provide quality service. We WILL NOT be allowing XWA to provide us another opportunity of a cancellation!

Easy parking. Fast service. Friendly employees. I like it when flying out of GFK is a cheaper rate than FAR. I’ve never had a problem using this airport over the past 20+ years.

Parking is great. No waiting in lengthy lines for departure or getting luggage at arrival time. This is about the airport; not the airlines. The airline is another story and not good. After 5 hour delay due to snow and high winds the flight was canceled and scheduled for 1 pm following day. 12 hours after cancellation and toddlers and babies sitting in airport from 8pm until 1am before cancelling the flight. Allegiant airways could have done a far better job predicting with all the computers and weather forecasting the flight cancellations. Thank God and someone with a brain at Canadinn sent a bus for stressed out travelers at 1am. Have a good day in Phoenix when you get there.

Definitely on the smaller end of an airport, only 2 gates and absolutely no problem navigating around. Building is neat and got a few quite interesting models on display – some fun machineries and even an AF predator UAV model! People here are really nice in general, but bear in mind that the shops and only restaurant do close after working hours which is something like 5pm, and the vending machines here only accept $1/5 bills or coins, while ATM only gives $20 bills [facepalm] so yeah… definitely prep some change if you intend to wait for someone here during after hours.

A nice little airport. The staff were courteous and efficient. The facility is well cared for and has good features for an airport this small.
