Amazing Airport! If you get stuck here, be sure to look upstairs between the D and the lounges for the prayer chapel and wonderful rocking chairs. I even took a nap here and it was great! The American Express centurion lounge is amazing with wonderful staff. They had great food and because our flight was delayed allowed us to come in multiple times. We arrived at 8 AM for an 11 AM flight and family left at 6 PM. However, we found excellent eating choices in the plaza. I recommend going there.

One of my favorite airport to fly into. Their terminals have so much space, it never feels crowded. I love the rocking chairs they have. They have the best variety of food spots to pick from. Their restrooms are always well maintained.

Charlotte Airport is a lovely airport although it is in a perpetual state of construction. Big airport and plenty of options for good food. Lots of lines here on a Saturday afternoon. My advice for flying in is to tell your ride to pick you up at the departures instead of arrivals… much less traffic at departures and much easier of an exit. I’ll post an update when we leave Charlotte.

Possibly one of the airports I ever flew in that offers comfort and good food courts to passengers with long layovers. Between terminal B and C there’s a huge area where people can find rocking chairs and tables to sit while enjoying food. The downside here is the narrow halls for gates, it can get super crowded during rush hours, to a point you can barely walk without knocking people over.

The Charlotte airport is one of the busiest American Airlines hubs in the US. This airport is quite long, and unfortunately there are no good transportation systems besides moving walkways to get between terminals. As always, the airport is packed. One of the nice things though is that they have many different food choices if you get hungry. For example, they have a main food hall right in the center of the terminal with several fast food chains. If you walk a little further down to terminal D, there’s another full fast food hall that also includes Shake Shack. For those looking to relax and a lounge, there are two Minute Suites locations (one in the center of the airport by the main food court, one near terminal D). Both of these fill up quite fast, so it is very important to go there as soon as possible and get a quiet room to relax. Right now, only one American Airlines lounge is open in terminal B. This is an extremely small lounge, and to get in, you have to wait in a line outside. The reason for this mass congestion is that the main lounge located between terminals D & C is currently under renovation. This lounge is the massive one that can easily seat several hundred people without feeling overcrowded. Overall, I like this airport in terms of the amenities, but if there was someway to solve the congestion within the airport itself, that would make this even better.

Flew into Raleigh from Tampa, the airport is nicely laid out very clean and orderly. Security and other employees were very kind. And I didn’t take too long to wait for baggage. All together seems like a pretty good airport.

Love the close airport, and book all of my flights through here. I also love the great and fast TSA experience. Check in was fast, and easy plus the same at the gate. All staff are friendly, and love to help.

2022 rating: been using this airport for 30 years, and it has definitely improved in the last decade, A LOT. The terminal improvements made in the late 2010s were a huge modernization move. The soaring wood beams that form the upper arc of the main terminal’s frame are just gorgeous. Truly an engineering marvel. There’s nothing impressive about the tech, but security is incredibly efficient and located just steps from the front doors. If you aren’t using TSA precheck at this point… honestly what are you doing? It’s so easy. Get it. Makes it so you can literally arrive 5 mins before boarding and you’re still fine. No other airport is so efficient; in my experience. It can be a hike to some of the farther gates, but noting unreasonable. The shops and restaurants are absolutely nothing special, just avoid them unless you really need something last minute. For parking: it’s almost always cheaper to Uber/Lyft to the airport so just keep that in mind. It sort of boggles me that anyone is still parking. But there is plenty of it at this airport and it’s not too challenging to navigate… it’s just HUGE. So you’ll find it takes longer to get from your car to the terminal than from the terminal door to your plane! Fun. When finished parking, pay at the kiosks installed near the access walkway to the terminal. If you don’t, the automatic gate won’t let you out when you go to leave. (It requires the paid ticket to open) Happy travels!

I live close by, so the convenience of this airport is amazing. It’s easy to get to, easy to get through, clean and no overwhelming. I’ve had to run through my fair share of airports, but this one is a piece of cake. Plenty of parking on site or access the park and fly just down the street. It’s a great place to come and go from. (And pre-pandemic I did that a lot) Keep in mind the 2 terminals 1 for Southwest flights 2 for all others Makes it pretty easy

In my opinion, this is one of the best airports in the US. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of options for shopping and for eating. The washrooms are super clean. The pickup location after the exit is not confusing at all like some of the other airports in the US.

Nice and quiet airport, it’s clean and maintained but you can tell it’s old. Security lines are short as they have just a few scheduled flights departing and arriving at 7 gates. It serves general aviation too and you can see exec jets take off and land. Not many shops and no lounges.

There weren’t many people working at check-in so it took a while to just get our bags checked in. And TSA was very rude to my family. It was my brother and I’s first plane ride and my parents hadn’t ridden a plane in years so we weren’t 100% sure what to do. But I tried helping my brother when walking up to TSA at the place to scan your boarding pass and the man didn’t tell us what to do so we sat there a minute waiting and eventually he told us to scan the boarding pass. There were 2 barcodes and I wasn’t sure which one to scan but apparently it was the wrong one and the man rolled his eyes at me and grabbed it from me to scan the right one. The rudeness continued when putting items in the bins to be scanned. The staff seemed short-tempered and had no sense of customer service when talking to my family. I’m not one to act like a Karen, but I’m very disappointed in the way they were speaking. I worked in customer service for 2 years and part of your job is to be nice and respectful especially to those that have done nothing disrespectful to you. But they did not try. After that, the staff was fine. Those at the Orlando Airport were much nicer to me so I know it isn’t all airport staff.

Asheville Regional Airport is a very nice airport. I like that it is on the smaller side, yet offers a lot. We generally fly Allegiant which is a very economical way to fly. The airport also hosts other airlines, if you want to use them, including DELTA and AMERICAN AIRLINES.

A great regional airport located in a perfect mountain town! The airport is less than 30 minutes from almost everything you want to do in Asheville. The terminal has adequate seating & is comfortable. Food options are a little lacking but, that’s to be expected with the size of the terminal. I’ll definitely be flying here again in the future!

We fly out of here a lot, as we live in a nearby town. Asheville regional has that small airport feeing while still servicing lots of destinations, and medium bodied aircraft. But, the airport can get very very busy on the weekend, and parking is expensive. I would recommend arriving about 45 minutes to an hour before your flight, depending on what day it is. A lot of the times, the parking lots are completely full, or almost full. This is a great airport!!

The airport is easy to get to and security is nearly always fast. The escalators in the non-security area are free and far between and one is currently under construction so it is hard to get around with luggage. Three carpeted hallways makes it harder with roller bags and food options are few.

Traveling can be stressful but flying to and from this airport is very easy. The main stand out to me is how friendly the staff is compared to other airports I’ve been in, in North Carolina. The staff is very nice and don’t mind helping a sometimes delirious and exhausted traveler.

Wonderful airport. No lines at TSA check in. TSA is quick fast and courteous. No need to go to Raleigh or Charlotte airports. Awesome! I love flying out of Greensboro.

Our go to airport! Staff is always so nice and accommodating. The airport itself is clean and easy to navigate. 10/10 recommend.

Small but amazing airport. Literally no lines for security even during holiday rush. Plenty of parking which is super close to terminal. Some art was displayed all over the airport. Starbucks and couple of other places to grab food. Flying in and out of this airport was breeze.

I love flying in and out of ILM. You can deplane and be out of the airport within a minute or two, the bathrooms are nice, and check-in is always easy breezy. Maybe it is because it is NC, but everyone that works there is just SO NICE. The only downside is that they really don’t have much in terms of amenities. If they added a place to get tea and good coffee (like a little Port City Java perhaps hint hint?) by the gates, it would be perfect! But even as it is, it is just such a low-stress place to fly in and out of.

Newly renovated, ILM did a nice job at check in areas and the new concourse. The old concourse needs a refresh (that sea foam green paint is not pleasant). Parking is easy and close but the labeling is too broad. For example row B2 is really long. So where on B2 did I park? There are multiple price points for parking.

Good airport. Decent staff. Nothing outstanding (nothing bad stands out). So, all in all, good. No rude people. Designated smoking 🚬 areas should be marked a little better and way more light out front in the pick up / taxi 🚖 areas. Good place overall.

Very clean & bright! I love this small airport. You can tell they take pride in keeping it nice. Food at the concession is very good & reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!!!
