A very nice airport seems new and spacious. I came in from an international flight, and the passport control is the worst I’ve seen in all my airports and travels. I waited almost an hour to get through customs to get to my next flight. The workers were confused on where to start the lines at. Then passport control asks a long list of questions that have nothing to do with your trip holding the line longer.

I may have my bias but I think this airport is absolutely impeccable. The recent renovations and improvement projects are doing well to beautify the airport into a world-class one. I recently came back from an international trip and I was extremely impressed at the new international arrivals facility. There is so much more space in this new part of the airport that it isn’t a nightmare to get our bags and go through immigration and customs anymore. The previous international area was not built for the kind of capacity Sea-Tac sees now, so I am impressed. Customs went relatively quickly (give or take around 10 minutes) in my experience. The entire airport overall is very clean and modern. The airport in its entirety is massive but there is adequate signage and I never got lost. Can’t wait to see the completion of the ongoing projects as I will be returning very soon for my next round of international trips.

It’s huge and confusing, but follow the signs to terminals and most likely you will take a train ride or rides to your terminal. We did have a nice meal at Dungeness Bay. We shared a Captain Platter and Blue Moon on tap. It hit the spot! Good food and beer.

Not too crowded in the food lines. Had a layover in Seattle, enjoyed the airport that I got to go through. It’s aesthetically pleasing with art. Many places to sit. Nice shops. Feels warmer in tone than many other airports.

What a beautifully put together airport. Tons and tons of eateries and so spacious with lots of seating. But the BEST thing ever is the kids zone across from A1. I mean, talk about brilliant!! I’ve seen kid play areas in a few airports but this one is by far the biggest

Listen, it’s likely I’m biased since I grew up in Spokane but this is my favorite airport of all. It’s not the prettiest but it has an early 1960s design and that style still looks great today. It’s only 10 minutes outside Spokane and with the enormous parking garage, it’s easy to park your car. The main area is rarely busy and the concourses are small and have huge windows that allow you to view planes landing and departing, which is pretty awesome, even for the old guys. Over the years, they have done some upgrades and I like the Starbucks right in the middle of everything, even if they totally botched our order the last time there. Also, getting a rental car is easy here and the cars are parked right outside so you don’t need a shuttle to get back to the airport. Check this place out sometime. The Northwest is a great area and the Spokane airport could be your first stop.

Was very happy with our flight out of Spokane. It was quick and easy getting through security and the airport was very clean. It would be nice to have a couple more places to eat.

I like that this airport is small enough to not be difficult. We rented a car and the car rental desks are right there in the airport. It’s a short line for security. It’s a short distance to walk to your gate. It needs renovations in some parts, but the other benefits outweigh the vanity aspects. 🙂 I’ll give you pictures of the women’s restrooms that are near the car rental desks.

This airport is generally pretty quick to get through security. Some of the gates could use a remodel but they are slowly starting to improve the airport. The one thing that is very annoying about this airport is that it generally takes FOREVER to get your bag. No great restaurant choices either. Everything else is as you would expect.

Very clean and accommodating airport. I love that they have rocking chairs placed around for people to use. It helps with little ones. They have a Starbucks located inside as well as other places to get what you need. The only reason I don’t feel compelled to rate 5/5 stars is because a couple of the baggage clerks were extremely rude. I won’t go too much into it but when parents are traveling with multiple young children and the flight we were originally on gets rescheduled to a flight very, VERY early in the morning – be understanding and kind. If you work there, please realize that you’re in a customer service based job and treating someone poorly only reflects on you.

I fly a lot all over Washington, and this is one of my favorite airports. It’s super clean, modern, great TSA staff, and efficient. It has a nice central bar/restaurant with good food options at reasonable prices and nice big windows that overlook the runway. The waiting areas have ample seating and charging areas. If you need a rental car, the rental desks are just outside the security exit, and the lot to grab cars is adjacent to the terminal. I love flying to the Tri-Cities thanks to this airport and how well it is run.

So this was actually a decent airport (I was definitely nervous due to it’s small size). I’m used to much larger airports that are significantly more stressful and crowded, so the low key pace of a smaller airport was such a welcome change. No getting lost, easy pickup/drop-off, low stress TSA & boarding. Allegiant isn’t the fanciest airline but it had nice stewardesses, and if you pay for extra leg room seating isn’t too bad (though seats are a tad small). The sandwich shop in the airport was also some of the best airport food I’ve had anytime recently. It had great bread, meat, cheese, & veggies- nothing fancy, but delicious none the less and I don’t feel gross like greasy airport food usually makes me feel.

Small airport with big results. Total of 15 minutes between drop off and sitting at my gate. TSA was pleasant, airline gate agent volunteered to move our seats so we could sit together. Fantastic little airport

The one star is for pricing. $4.33 for a small bottled soft drink. I expect to pay a little more at the airport. But this seems excessive. Otherwise, the airport was great. Easy to navigate and very clean.

Pain Field was an amazing stop over for me. I spent a few hours between flights. It has just four gates (Two on ether end) that operate smoothly. It has nice waiting areas and the center all age lounge has super comfortable leather low slung chairs along with couch’s and club chairs. Their is a full bar that serves great food. I did not exit so I cannot speak to the parking or security process.

I took my son to this airport for a flight to San Francisco. I was worried about parking and how long it would take to get to his gate. We got there just after 7am, pull right into the parking lot AND PARKED. No circling desperately searching for a spot. The ladies that checked him in were amazing, security had NO line, from ticket counter to the gate was maybe 5 minutes. The airport is beautiful. What I imagine flying in the 40s and 50s must have been like. I don’t know if this went so smoothly because of how early we were there or what but it was an amazing experience. I wish you could get more flights from this airport! ***UPDATE*** Picking my son up was pretty much just as easy as drop off. The main parking lot seemed full so I parked in lot 3, which is still RIGHT there. It was pretty much empty. Still no lines, through security easily (they spent some extra time checking my ankle brace). Still gets 5 stars! Best airport I’ve ever been to.

I don’t know how I’ve never flown out of Paine Field before. From entering the building to being at my gate took 9 minutes, and that’s including checking a bag. The lobby looks like a hotel. Most seats have power outlets, and there are fun fireplaces. Two cons – I tried to connect to the WiFi to work, but it wouldn’t allow me saying that I had exceeded my download limit …. without ever having connected before. And the food is very limited. To all my vegan people, bring food, because you aren’t getting anything here. (The espresso bar does have milk alternatives though!).

Wonderful place to fly out of. Very quiet, clean and small. The workers are all friendly and cause for a better experience. First hour free in the cell phone lot is also very helpful. Tara is a fantastic manager and very helpful. Don’t park along the curb though cause they will have to ask you to move along.

For commercial flights, PAE is a quiet, efficient, and uncrowded airport, thanks to its fewer than 15 daily scheduled departures (at the time of this writing, at least). The airside area of the passenger terminal feels like a very-well-maintained lounge in a major international airport — and arguably superior, given the lack of overcrowding problems here. For aviation enthusiasts, this airport is great for planespotting, since it’s the same airfield connected to Boeing’s Everett Factory for commercial airliners. New planes and flight test operations may be visible while waiting in the terminal or while taxiing on the tarmac!

Really like this airport! Landed and departed from this airport in July 2022 for our Southwest Airlines flight to/from Denver. We usually use SeaTac International Airport when we visit family/friends in Vancouver, but this airport gives SeaTac a good run for its money. Bellingham International Airport (BLI) is much smaller/compact, no huge crowds, and TSA/security was a breeze to get through – no long queues, no wait, no fuss. And they have TSA PreCheck too. There are only 5 gates, all at ground level, so you have to use a ramp to get on/off the plane, but it’s all part of the fun of using a small airport. Luggage came out very quickly, and rentacar desks (Avis, Budget, etc.) are all located inside the terminal building, so no shuttle bus rides to a distant, off-site location. Southwest doesn’t fly directly to BLI from Denver, so one can connect through Oakland or Las Vegas to use BLI, but it sure beats the long drive up from SeaTac on Interstate 5. BLI is only 20-30 minutes away from the Blaine/Pacific US/Canada border crossings. There’s a Costco nearby too, if you need to get some eats and fill up the petrol for your car. Overall a great little airport!

My visit was VERY short – I merely flew in from Seattle on Alaska Airlines. What I saw was nice, and the staff were pleasant. TIP: If someone is picking you up, and you they can get in and out of there in 30 mins or less, parking is free.

This airport is so cute! The way that you board is a throwback to old times. I’ll be sad when it gets big and crowded like all the others. Three days b4 Thanksgiving and it was practically empty. All of the employees (especially the lady at the coffee shop) were so friendly! As you can see the SW employees were getting ready for Christmas hanging decorations. Loved it!

It’s so tiny and cute! However, it’s perfect for the purpose I needed/will need. I know with Southwest running nonstops a couple times of day from Oakland/the Bay Area this airport will get a lot more traffic from people like myself who are visiting Vancouver or British Columbia.
