One of my favorite airports in the world 💖 so efficient, so clean and easy to find everything in this airport. Staff and crew are all very accommodating and service is great. Security checks are on on point, very clean. Bathrooms and wash are regularly cleaned. For this trip I was in D gates I don’t think there were lounges here but all the same waiting gates are comfortable and easy to find. Especially love their water fountain that shows u how much plastic bottles you save by reusing or using a tumbler. Glad to be here 💖🤗❤️

This is my favorite international airport and I carry so many happy tearful memories with it. Somehow i felt this airport is emotionally connected to me; I used other international airports in united states like JKF etc.. but this one is too good for easy access say like travel to airport, luggage check-in, boarding, check-out, auto check-in, port of entry for immigration are all handled and maintained very well. Staffs here really good and supportive. It is easy to find the way to your airport access unlike JFK where you definitely need some guidance. Parking, rental cars and airport pick all available for your convenience. Waiting area, announcement, cafeteria, flight services are easily accessible.

Dulles was on my bucket list to depart from. Very outdated interior and exterior. All concrete entrance that could use a architectural update with some color and metals. Looks deserted on tarmac side. Outside south side of main building show wear and could use paint or some sort of metal. Departing out of American B gates. You take a modern train that is efficient to the gates. The AB gates look like a modern airport very pleasant interior with lots of light. Looks like there is no train to C or D gates. You have to take the dated people mover buses.

The famous Washington DC airport is actually located in Virginia, in the greater DC metro area. DC actually has three airports. The Reagan National Airport, which is closer to downtown (but technically in Virginia), the IAD and the BWI airport located about an hour away from DC in Baltimore, MD. The Dulles airport was recently (about 5 years ago) massively renovated and since then has been an excellent showcase of chic architecture, thoughtful logistics and convenience. The long shuttle rides from the airport to the terminals has now been replaced by sleek trains (even though for some reason disembarking passengers are still forced to take the shuttles). The terminals are clean and aesthetically pleasing. The signs are also abundant and easy to follow. In terms of parking, the airport has both types. One can park close by (more expensive) and also farther away and take a shuttle. The airport is conveniently connected to the metro by the Dulles toll road (which is free for airport traffic) and generally moves fast. They are also building a metro line to the city which is almost reaching the airport (right now one needs to take a 5-min shuttle to the metro). Plenty of places to eat, shop and rest. Flying now a days is stressful, the airport helps reduce it as much as possible.

One of the largest airports in the US. The airport is definitely well managed. There are trains and buses connecting passengers to their respective terminals. They have plenty of direct flights across the world. Their international terminal in particular has a great assortment of stores and lounges The immigration process is definitely planned well in comparison to other airports. They deploy staff on the floor depending on the rush hour traffic. There was once they redirected immigrant line folks to US citizens line to make sure everyone gets home faster The ticketing or checkin for international am flights is a bit of pain but that’s also because of the crowd I feel

Major 30 minute delay sitting on the airplane while we waited for the gate and skybridge operators to come over. Tons of airport construction inside the terminal made finding the Metro entrances less then easy. Hopefully the changes and construction going on will eventually solve that problem. Overall the food choices were sufficient and as reasonable as you would expect from any US airport.

Decent airport; layout is pretty good. The train connection service is excellent. Food options are fairly sparse though. And, if you can find someplace good to eat; good luck finding a seat. Restaurants tend to get and stay pretty crowded.

Very nice airport with great access to many restaurants without having to go through security more than once. Airport is very well taken care of and is very clean on the inside. As some others have said, it doesn’t seem crowded and the layout is easy. It is not a very difficult airport to navigate which is a major plus.

Had a layover here, not bad. Decent restaurants. Enjoyed a good meal and a cold drink. I was not happy to be there, because I had a flight canceled, so I was redirected to this airport. The representatives I worked with were helpful and positive. I would definitely fly here again. Overall a good experience which is harder to find in today’s climate with canceled flights and such.

Great airport. Huge. Didn’t feel crowded. Many food options. We ended up eating at Kapnos Tavern and it was delicious. Super cute pet relief area. Although I wasn’t traveling with my pet I thought that was super thoughtful. Very clean, including the bathrooms which looked super updated with beautiful doors and the toilets that automatically move the seat cover.

Although an international airport, it is small and easy to get around!! I made it through security for a night flight within 6 minutes! 🤯 The signs inside and outside the airport make it easy to get around. Ground transportation has very little traffic which makes getting dropped off or picked up smooth as well!!

This past Saturday was my first time flying out of this airport and I was very pleasantly surprised by the airport. I arrived around noon and it seemed very low traffic and quiet which made getting through security and to the gate a calm and easy experience. The Delta check-in area seemed to be a little dimly lit but it wasn’t bad at all. There were several places to eat but not the variety that you would find at a larger airport. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Nice airport. For me on Saturday, it was honestly perfect.

This is a smaller airport that has all the basic amenities needed. There are not a lot of stores, restaurants, or other places inside, especially once you pass through the gates. However, there are typically a place or two open. Ticketing, parking, and security are fairly well organized and put together well.

Great airport! Fast service that gets the job done. If I ever need to travel to Virginia again I will use this airport. It was clean, well organized, and all of the staff members were friendly. I highly recommend it. Five emojis that describe my experience are… 😁👍✈️🛩🆒

Looking to get in and out of an airport. This airport is seldom crowded. Your rental car is just down stairs. One stop airport. Baggage are unloaded off the plane fast. Each time I fly in and out of this airport, I have a pleasant experience.

The five star is for how easy it is to maneuver and parking is super easy as well. It’s nice there is a upper arrival drop-off and a lower pick-up. Security is usually smooth and they give directions. Small and quaint! Nice to see out the windows and snap a shot of the planes. Now the other….2 star on the vibe of this airport! Richmond itself is a really cool city with a lot of history and art. The city is filled with the most amazing architecture and art! This airport feels like you are in an interrogation room. Bright too bright florescent lighting and nothing on the walls that shows any character of any sorts. Some random cars sitting inside the lobby at times. It just needs a better welcoming feel to it. Travel should be fun and inviting!

It was our first time flying into Richmond since we usually drove down 95 but this is a decent airport with many options. From my initial movements throughout the facility from gate to baggage to car rental was a very seamless process which could be only enhanced when thinking about when there are busier times. So far so good at this airport and I will fly in again to this location.

As far as airports go, this one is very nice. It is clean, bright, and everyone is so friendly, even down to the shuttle bus driver (shout out to Nicole!). It was well-organized and I felt the least amount of stressed I’ve ever felt in an airport!

Very nice and quaint airport (the Honolulu airport) could take lessons from them on cleanliness, hospitality, and customer service. Only issue was when I got off my plane, there were not signs immediately telling you the way to baggage claim. Overall very nice airport.

The airport is empty on a Saturday early afternoon. TSA wasn’t even busy…like, 6 people in line. My kinnuh airport. It seemed clean. Places within the airport were easy to get to.

Very small, but nice airport in Roanoke, VA, with a very good road connection. Since it’s that small airport, all formal proceedings, check-in and security checks are done very fast and without any long waiting time. And I find it the best solution to get easy to international airports in the US, e.g. to Washington-Dulles or Chicago O’Hare. Really like it.✈🇺🇸👍🏻

That’s my flight oh, the Delta rebooked me even though it was partially my fault. It’s a beautiful city. The people. The same. I’m leaving today to seek Asylum oh, but it’s otherwise a beautiful place

I love this small but lovely airport located in Roanoke Virginia. Checking in, and passing security checks are completed in a convenient and efficient matter. Rare to find long waiting time. Very easy to navigate through, quite hard to get lost here. Parking is quite easy and not confusing. Allegiant Air made our flight very painless. Bag Claim section is quite wide and open to pickup your luggage. Management are friendly people.

I love smaller airports. It’s so much easier going through security when you aren’t in a longer of a hundred people. The little shops have a little of everything, so if you need anything, it’s a short walk and a short wait to get whatever you need. Staff is super friendly too. I hope I have to fly back in next year

Review for the “airport manager”. Was sitting downstairs taking a phone call. A woman with a airport badge interrupted me and told me I ” couldn’t be down here.” “Why not?” ” This is a restricted area” ” How so? There’s no sign or gate saying that. Can you see how that’s an issue? Who are you?” “Yes sir I understand. I’m the airport manager” The sign literally says: “Ground boarding lower level” as you enter. Just trying to take a phone call ma’am.
