- Reviews:Small airport but nice. Terminals are little half circles. Once you get past security, there isn’t much to do besides walk the loop or browse a tiny shop or two. Also tons of birds in the area. We saw around 1,000+ pigeons or similar small bird in a giant flock. Pretty cool! If the bathroom near your gate has a line, try walking to the other side of your terminal loop.By Andrew Dunn (10 months ago)Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is a nice older airport, a little cramped and short on space. Kansas City International Airport is clean, well managed, and maintained. There are only a couple of restaurants or bars in either of the 2 concourses. The concourses are narrow, and space/seating can be limited, especially when flights become delayed. The airport is about a 20-minute drive to downtown Kansas City. If you find my review helpful, please give me a thumbs-up 👍 Thank you!By Ric Listella (11 months ago)Very easy airport to navigate, & the TSA wasn’t a big issue! This airport is smaller, & definitely not as hectic as the bigger guys! The food options weren’t that great in the airport…but, I’d already ate. That’s definitely something they need to improve! Overall a nice simple airport!By Richey (2 months ago)A lot of folks appreciate the convenience of the current Kansas City International Airport, as do I. However, it’s NOT like most airports across the country. For many reasons such as VERY few places to eat and shop, especially within the gate areas. As well as the overall design of the horseshoe shaped terminals. I’m really excited about the new airport that’s scheduled to open in March 2023. It will definitely be a much new and better experience.By Bailey Ostrom (4 months ago)I’ve been to many airports and this airport has me wondering…what were the designers thinking? The boarding posts are actually in the main walkway! So I’m walking to a different gate for my connecting flight, and the Starbucks line is across the seating area, going into the boarding area while blocking the main walkway. If you have a connecting flight, bring food. Your options are seriously limited and the lines are long. There are a few gates close to each other, and you have to LEAVE THE SECURE AREA to get to other terminals or lower gates. I saw they are remodeling terminal A. May I suggest you just build another airport? I don’t think a remodel will make this airport any better.By Bill Fontenot (a month ago)

- Reviews:One of the easiest airports to fly in and out of. The only downside is that there aren’t many direct flights. Other than that, I highly recommend. Navigating is very simple and it’s never overly crowded or understaffed.By Sheena Youngers (11 months ago)Great little airport! It has the conveniences of a larger airport, but is rarely crowded. Baggage has always been delivered promptly, and the terminal is very easy to navigate. Security lines have never been an issue when I traveled. PreCheck is offered and works very efficiently.By Brett Meier (a year ago)The good: Small, easy airport to navigate through Easy access to plenty of different vending machine Good variety of fast food places to eat Dunking Donuts inside of terminal and before passing TSA( this location is easier and quick to grab and go with less of a wait) Rapid testing location Rental car agencies right across the street with a short walk They have a small sitting area before passing TSA that gives the history of aviation in Wichita, KS( highly recommend taking the time to watch the video and see each panel) The art work is phenomenal and worth a check Getting through TSA is one of the easiest experiences in this airport All the workers I’ve encountered have been pleasant and helpful They have a 9/11 memorial with a section of i beam on display Security/Police have a good presence The baggage area is wide open even when bags have arrived which are it easy to grab your luggage and go It’s easy to be dropped off or picked up out front as traffic is normally light The polished floors with what looks to be runways is a nice construction touch Several quick grab and go stores Children’s play area Animal assistant waste area Photos of weapons that have been confiscated by TSA is a real eye opener “I forgot I had that” is the most used excuse according to the officer sitting at the desk The bad: The chairs could be a little more comfortable other than that no much “bad” with using this airportBy Hector Guerra (10 months ago)Clean airport. Easy to navigate, probably because it’s small. Staff is friendly, even the gate agents. There’s one main area with a few eateries, so food options may be limited. If you have dietary restrictions, you may want to bring your own food. Baggage claim is quick and easy. Both parking and car rentals are just a few steps away. Even when I’m getting picked-up, transportation is easy and there is only a second island. Overall I really enjoy flying in and out of this airport.By Sky High (a month ago)Quick in and out with efficient TSA and convenient parking. One of my favorite airports to travel in and out of. 12 gates but you can go anywhere in the world from here.By J STEPHEN WILLIAMS (6 months ago)

- Reviews:The one airline flying into this little hub is American Airlines and I would have liked to see all employees masked, as they interface with unknown public who are mostly unmasked. There were only three passengers wearing masks, which means we’re all going to be sharing all of your interactions from the past 72 hours in a tin can for 2 hours. That’s two hours of the virus mutating in unvaccinated and being shared with the vaccinated — the incubation tube. The reason I gave higher stars was the nice staff.By Eric Mayfield (8 months ago)Tis a nice homey airport. Really refreshing to see it’s support for the great K state. I’m not sure if the emptiness was due to the time I was there or the covidity; but it came to be interestingly unique in comparison to “flyover” port towns. Not sure if Zoolander or elf have any validity in Manhattan; however the architecture reminds me of “Derek Zoolander’s school…” The holiday spirit was quite loud inside; the festivus is upon us. Danke Manhattan.By Mister Colabucci (a year ago)The lady checking me into my gate was completely rude to me, embarrassed me in front of the whole lobby over a simple conversation about me being a inexperienced traveler and my baggage being checked or “valet” she had no personal patience for me just trying to figure out how to go about my bags. A lot of airports seem to hire rude people and it makes our experience horrible. She should be reminded that we are all human and all things considered we should be treated as she would want herself or daughter treated. She also kept messing up her intercom speech and spoke to fast for anyone to understand the announcements. If I was the manager for the airline I’d write her up.By Cassie Schiebel (3 months ago)Cute little airport with friendly staff and easy to navigate. Do be warned they open security 20-30 minutes before a departing flight, staff are always available to ask questions.By Christina Fread (2 weeks ago)The staff there was friendly and knowledgeable. Bailey and Karron were great! I enjoyed chatting up the facilities guy who has Swiss Mountain dogs. There were vending machines with a variety of beverages and snacks.By Bonnie Bonneau (4 months ago)

- Reviews:Wow! Who knew you could fly right into Garden City, KS? Accessible to Dodge City, Liberal and more. It only cost us 18K miles each to fly there from another state. Everything was so easy and the staff from American check-in to Hertz Rental to security and gate agents and tarmac baggage employees were unbelievably friendly. We will use this airport again! Oh, and everything was on time too!By Jill Hendon (2 months ago)Standard small town airport with a few flights per day to/from a hub, Dallas. Currently, the terminal is undergoing some renovation.By Matt Townsley (3 months ago)Staff was very nice and personal. Small airport, doing reconstruction which is needed, and a good deal. Good experience.By Luke Emack (5 months ago)If it was possible I would give AA staff at this airport a negative number. Worst customer service ever…..they make their own rules!! Who ever heard of closing check in 45 minutes before a flight from an airport with one gait! Supervisor for 6 AM flight extremely rude and unhelpful. She seemed to enjoy upsetting myself and several others who arrived 45 min before the flight. The security and screening staff were friendly, helpful and offered a smile. Thank goodness I was able to check myself in and didn’t have to check a bag, otherwise I would have been out of luck. All she would have done to help would of been to suggest this solution instead of being rude and passive aggressive!!!By Glenda Bittner (a year ago)American Airlines is the worst. No respect, woman at the counter could care less. Crew just decided not to show up. Stay away from this airport and this city.By Ike Unger (3 years ago)

- Reviews:Efficient, friendly, patient and funny staff that make the flying process actually fun. Top it off with free parking and reasonably priced flights and I’m in every time! It’s a little out of the way, but to avoid the business of Kansas City for essentially the same $$ in my case, I’ll choose this airport experience.By Bonnie Rickenbach (11 months ago)Great airport with clean facilities! Bathrooms were perfect and plenty of places to charge your equipment. Security was quick and friendly! All employees did a good job throughout the experience!By Daniel Kaelin (6 months ago)The staff and TSA agents at Salina Regional Airport are extremely nice and professional. They do an excellent job. I recommend flying out of Salina if you visit central Kansas for any reason.By joel shaffett (3 months ago)Convenient location, quick check-in, free parking! It’s small, but gets the job done. Clean and cozy with a small drink and snack concession area. Would absolutely fly from here again.By Jessica Jarvis (2 years ago)The best service are providing by United stuff members here it’s a small airport has only one flight from Salina to Chicago only, but it’s worth it. You don’t have to come here too early the TSA will take 15 minutes the max to let you go for your flight.By Ashuqollah Sharifi (7 months ago)
