A reasonable airport for a sparsely populated state. It is a good size and it is not super busy. Easy to get into with transportation and easy to get out. Certainly not a large as some airports in the lower 48, but still well organized. Definitely the best place to fly into Alaska and would recommend Alaska Airlines.

It’s a good airport. Easy to navigate. Lots of food choices. Prices are reasonable for being in an airport. Lots of “Alaska” stuff to look at. Car rental pick up is easy.

A pretty big international airport that has some of the alaskan culture and a taste of what you will find during your trip or stay in here. Signs and advertisements od either buses, train or flights are really well advised.

    1. The airport is very clean. 2. Open gate system allows many seating area. 3. Bars and restaurant, including fast food like Mc. Donald’s are available. 4. Rest rooms are available in every concourse. 5. Art displays trully represent Alaska. 6. If you are an airplane lover, the big windows offer you great and close view to the airplanes on the tarmac.

Very nice airport in Anchorage, AK. Tons of delicious but very expensive food. The process to board our planes was well organized and efficient. Will definitely return!

Nice place! They have some places to wait for your flight. My hotel actually came in the car area to the side to pick us up instead of out front. It was a little hard to find. Everyone was helpful and there were some really cute souvenirs. It’s a small airport, so it’s not very hard to make your flight!

The airport is small but looking well decorated, and everything is convenient. Car rental counters are in front of the two baggage claim carousels. Rental car staff all seem very friendly. Rental car pickups are across the street from baggage claim. The only negative is that some road construction is blocking some of the roads around the airport.

The airport was super clean and the staff all were amazing to talk to. Visiting from out of town for a week and each individual was open and up to quick chat/laughing. Kudos for all 10 team members spoke to during my wait for flight!

A small but efficient airport. No complaints. If you arrive late at night or early in the morning it may be difficult to reach downtown fairbanks.

Small, six gates and a Starbucks inside security. Clean. TSA check not crowded. TSA personnel were pleasant. Alaska Airlines gate agent was efficient but very humorous. She was also thoughtful as she personally brought a forgotten ID on to the plane and gave it to a very grateful lady. Great customer service.

Likely the smallest airport I’ve ever flown through. Flying in through the mountains and then dropping through them to land is an incredible experience. A short runway is evident due to the strong reverse thrust upon landing. Very clean, efficient, and decorated to give you a true Alaskan experience.

Clean. Small. Easy to get around. I enjoyed the artwork and taxidermy bears.

Nice and small.. chairs are uncomfortable when you have a five hour layover

If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady and her “lead” at customer service and baggage center were absolutely unaccommodating and unethical compared to every other Alaska airlines airport I’ve been to. I’ve being flying with AK Air my whole life and never experienced such inconvenient and stressful business. It’s safe to say I am never flying with this airlines due to this. Maybe hire more compassionate employees Alaska.

I just have to give a shout out to the gal with Alaska Airlines who helped me this morning (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name!). I had attempted to change flights online and it didn’t go through properly. She made it extremely easy and was able to get it taken care of. Thank you again!

Little airport but runs smoothly most of the time. I have been through the airport at least 10 times and never had an issue. There are some cool sculptures and historical items to check out and the snack bar is not exceptionally large, but the food is good. Worst part about the airport… you have to take a ferry to get in or out from the terminals.

Super chill little airport! The wide variety of planes is such a cool sight! The art decorations are super cool, with taxidermied animals. Be careful and remember to bring six dollars to cross the ferry to Ketchikan they take debit, credit, and cash! #Bridgetonowhere

Note: written from the perspective of a helicopter pilot, using the airport as a refueling stop. Without a Control Tower — just a FSS Advisory Service — it PAKT is easy to get in and out of. Long, wide, clear, well-maintained surfaces with good visibility.

Very small airport with about 3 gates. It maybe takes a couple minutes to get through TSA. There’s a nice little restaurant inside too if you hungry and a souvenir shop.

The people who work here make all the difference. Tammy is always so courteous and professional at the check-in counter. TSA is efficient. The staff works hard to keep the waiting area clean. If there is a weather delay, they do an excellent job of keeping everyone informed. It’s not the perfect set-up, it’s cramped, and way too small, but the people make it work. Tip: Use the bathroom before going through security, there is limited availability on the other side.

Talk about an easy and small airport to get through! One gate, you exit the plane down the stairs, then into the one baggage claim. No food service, only 2 on-site rental car services; town and services are a few mile away. Great to miss the daily hustle and bustle of large airports.

Very small airport which is kind of expected. It can get kind of cramped inside while waiting for flights but you usually don’t have to wait too long. Not much to do or see here. I think they have a vending machine for food and drink and that’s it so come prepared. Definitely not a bad place, just small.

Horribly planned airport layout, try checking in during peak fishing or hunting season and you will see a line out the door and mass confusion inside. They also closed the only redeeming quality which was the restaurant bar adjacent to the terminal. So now your limited to vending machine food.

Small airport but does have tsa if your flying AirAlaska, Ravn does not go thru security here so you have to get your bags and do it in Anchorage if your connecting to the lower 48, the AirAlaska jet requires you to be there around an hour early, you can cut it closer if your on Ravn, there are snack machines but do not expect a restaurant, car rentals are available and taxi service down down costs around 25$, there is free parking just outside the terminal
